Voidscape is open-source software for preparing media evidence. It is not a hosted media service, a promise that every source will work, or permission to access content you do not control.
Process media you own or are permitted to access. Do not bypass platform rules, privacy rights, or technical restrictions.
Sources, captions, extractors, models, dependencies, costs, and third-party services can change or fail.
You choose local versus cloud processing, model downloads, output storage, and any optional account-authenticated source.
Voidscape includes a static website, an open-source command-line tool, an agent-skill bundle, compatibility files, documentation, and tests. It prepares selected frames, transcripts, and manifests from supported local media or URLs. It does not guarantee that an AI agent's later interpretation is complete or correct.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right and platform permission to access, download, transcribe, transform, and analyse each source. A working URL, browser login, cookie export, or command-line option does not create that permission.
The preview and command flags help communicate cost, privacy, and dependency choices. They are safety controls, not legal advice or a substitute for reviewing the selected provider's terms. Keep `--allow-cloud` and `--allow-model-download` off unless you understand and accept the named operation.
Do not use Voidscape to violate law, copyright, privacy, confidentiality, contractual restrictions, or another person's rights. Do not use it to obtain unauthorized access, evade access controls, distribute credentials or cookie files, harass people, or process material whose possession or use is unlawful.
You retain whatever rights you already hold in your media, transcripts, notes, and generated outputs. Voidscape does not claim ownership of them. You are responsible for securing local files, reviewing outputs before relying on them, and avoiding disclosure of confidential material.
Public source hosts, Vercel, GitHub, yt-dlp extractors, model hosts, local model packages, cloud transcription providers, and optional feedback forms are operated by third parties. Their availability, prices, data practices, licences, and terms are outside Voidscape's control. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
The repository code is offered under the MIT License, subject to the notices and attributions included in the repository. These prototype terms do not remove rights granted by that licence.
Voidscape outputs are not legal, medical, financial, employment, safety, or other professional advice. Timestamped evidence can improve traceability, but it can still be incomplete, mistranscribed, misread, or taken out of context. Verify important decisions against the original source and a qualified professional when appropriate.
To the extent permitted by law, Voidscape is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, source compatibility, transcription quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The MIT License contains the controlling software warranty disclaimer.
To the extent permitted by law, the maintainers and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the prototype, third-party services, lost data, incorrect outputs, or unavailable sources. This draft does not override rights that cannot legally be limited.
The prototype may change, pause, or stop without notice. Material changes to this page should update the date above. A commercial or hosted release requires a new review of privacy, data collection, support, governing law, and dispute terms.
No governing-law or dispute-resolution clause has been selected for this prototype draft. The maintainer should add one only after confirming the appropriate legal jurisdiction and obtaining qualified advice.
